About Us
Dr. John Oró established the Neurosurgery Center of Colorado in 2005 shortly after relocating to Colorado from Columbia, Missouri. The Neurosurgery Center of Colorado is affiliated with The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) in Aurora, Colorado. Together with TMCA, specialized centers have been jointly developed including The Chiari Care Center and Neurovascular Surgery Center.
Dr Adam Smith joined The Neurosurgery Center of Colorado in August of 2011, after completion of his Neurosurgical Residency training at Rush University Medical Center.
The Neurosurgery Center of Colorado provides care for patients affected by disorders of brain, spine and spinal cord, and peripheral nerves with special interest and expertise in: Brain and skull base tumors, facial pain, and vagal nerve stimulation.
